On-Call Lead Behavioral Health Specialist Location: Big Bend, Texas (Marfa) Rate: $60/hour (1099 contract) Make an Impact Where It Matters Most Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking On-Call Lead Behavioral Health Specialists to provide leadership and behavioral health oversight at DHS processing facilities in Big Bend, TX (Marfa). In this critical leadership role, you will guide the behavioral health team, coordinate directly with CBP and federal stakeholders, and ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care for children in federal custody. What You'll Do As an On-Call Lead Behavioral Health Specialist, you will serve as the clinical and operational lead during designated shifts. You'll manage a team of Child Well-Being Specialists, support case escalations, and act as the key liaison between field staff and federal leadership. Core Responsibilities Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Child Well-Being Specialists Serve as the primary liaison with CBP leadership, DHS headquarters, and care teams Lead resolution of complex and high-risk child well-being cases Coordinate daily staffing coverage and respond to surge needs Collaborate with external agencies to ensure effective care coordination Conduct staff performance reviews and lead professional development efforts Contribute to policy and process improvements across the program Schedule & Shift Details This is an on-call leadership role with flexible coverage expectations: 8 hours onsite + 4 hours on-call (as needed) per shift Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational demand Must be able to return onsite during on-call hours if required Requirements Master's or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field Active, unrestricted license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Psychologist (LP) Minimum 5 years of post-licensure experience in: Child development Trauma-informed care Clinical evaluations At least 2 years of experience managing behavioral health or social service teams Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred (minimum ILR 3/5 or equivalent) Ability to lead in high-pressure, dynamic, and evolving environments Why Join Blue Rose?
