The Omnichannel Systems Analyst acts a functional and technical subject matter expert for the applications leveraged to deliver our Omnichannel solution.

Responsibilities
  • Technical analysis skills, including root cause analysis of highly urgent, critical production issues.
  • High familiarity with technical investigation strategies, including review of logs, database, configuration, Control-M jobs.
  • Experienced application configurator, ability to drive specific application behavior based on configuration modifications.
  • Data integration design and understanding of data mapping activities.
  • Familiarity with REST API design for data retrieval and updates from client applications.
  • Write technical user stories for integrations, APIs, and functional user stories to dictate system behavior.
  • Act as a delivery lead on projects, and facilitate discovery sessions, design workshops, project delivery, user acceptance testing, and cutover planning.
  • Collaborate with third party vendors to drive resolution of incidents, introduction of new capabilities, and system upgrades.
  • Apply knowledge of application architecture, industry trends and best practices to recommend process or technology changes.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years working in a Retail environment, specifically in a stores and/or direct channel
  • 5+ years working in the IT industry completing both projects and production support/issue resolution
  • Hands on experience with system design, data analysis, and crafting data flow diagrams
  • Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills vital to interact with BBW technology team, BBW brand partners, and third party vendors
  • Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions in a concise and understandable manner
  • Experience in delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)
  • Experience with Delivery tools: Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Stash, Git), MS Azure, Jenkins
  • Experience creating supporting application documentation (system context diagrams, API sequence diagrams, etc)
  • Basic to moderate SQL and JSON skills
  • Education: 4 year business or technical degree with an emphasis on information systems or an equivalent combination of course work and job experience
