Location: Oldham County Arts Center Weekend/Evening Receptionist Saturday mornings and two select evenings. 10-12 hours per week.
Arts Center Responsibilities
- Receives all calls and directs to appropriate party.
- Greet all visitors and directs them to appropriate party or to room.
- Reminds visitors to sign in the sign-in register in the front lobby.
- Takes registrations for Community Arts Classes.
- Gives information to registering students about the classes and if there is a list of supplies gives that to them.
- Calls and emails to reminds students of upcoming classes and also reminds those who have not paid to send in payment for the classes.
- Receives mail and distributes to appropriate mailboxes.
- Receives checks and cash for payment of Community Arts Classes. Enters payment into registration book and in check receipt book.
- Takes reservations for upcoming Performances and Workshops.
- Sells tickets for Performances.
- Other duties as assigned by the Registrar and General Manager.

- Friendly personality.
- Some experience operating a multiple phone system.
REPORTS TO: Principal and Office Manager
JOB GOAL: To receive visitors and incoming calls to the school in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Receives all calls /voicemail and directs to the appropriate party.
- Greets and screens all visitors and directs them to the appropriate party.
- Assists with correspondence on request.
- Coordinates dispatch information for the pony system.
- Opens and distributes all mail.
- Assists with student attendance records as directed by the Office Manager.
- Perform necessary medical-related services for students who have been determined by their physician to need such services, upon written delegation of the responsibilities and proper training by the District Nurse.
- Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Compensation will be based on 185 contract days on the board approved 104 salary schedule. This position requires an 8-hour workday.
