Ohio - Surg Tech

ST will work 36-40 hours/week (start and end times are negotiable), with approximately every 5th weekend as a call weekend (split between Call 1 and Call 2) and 2 Calls per week (split between call 1 and call 2). Based upon department need and potential changes in staffing, the call volume could increase. All call requires a 30-minute response time. This occurs from the time of the call, to arriving on site. Also, possible Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the ST's contract. This rotation is based on current patient census and staffing, so some variability could be possible to this rotation if census/staffing experiences a significant change. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. BLS required. CST preferred but not required. Candidate must possess a minimum of current or very recent 2 years of General Surg Tech experience. Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.
