AGR is looking for Offshore Welders for ongoing offshore projects in the GoM.
Job Title: Offshore Welder
Location: Offshore - Gulf of Mexico / U.S. Waters
Department: Maintenance / Fabrication
Reports To: Offshore Supervisor / Welding Foreman
Job Summary:
The Offshore Welder is responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks on offshore oil and gas platforms, rigs, and vessels. This role involves working in a safety-critical environment to repair, modify, and install structural components and piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding and cutting operations using SMAW, FCAW, MIG, and TIG processes.

Fabricate and repair offshore structures, pipe systems, and supports as per engineering drawings.

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welds and fittings.

Follow all safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.

Assist in rigging, fitting, grinding, and other fabrication-related duties as required.

Work closely with offshore supervisors, engineers, and other craft personnel to complete tasks.

Complete daily work logs and material usage reports.
Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of offshore welding experience in the oil & gas industry (Gulf of Mexico preferred).

Certified welder per AWS/ASME standards (current certifications preferred).

Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping and structures.

Strong knowledge of offshore safety procedures and working in hazardous environments.

Valid offshore certifications (TWIC, HUET/BOSIET, Safe Gulf, offshore medical, etc.).

Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a rotation schedule offshore.

Physically fit for offshore work and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces.
