Join Our Team as a Part-Time Office Receptionist (Tuesday-Thursday)

At our company, your role as the Receptionist will be key in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and callers. As the friendly face of our office, you ensure that every person's experience is pleasant and professional. In this essential part-time position, you'll support our operations from Tuesday to Thursday, working from 9 AM to 5 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. You will contribute to a smoothly functioning environment with your organizational expertise and focus on details. This position totals 21 paid hours/week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming Presence: Greet visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel valued and informed.
  • Communication Management: Efficiently handle incoming calls and route them to the appropriate team members.
  • Mail Coordination: Receive incoming packages and oversee outgoing mail, including courier services.
  • Office Appearance: Maintain a clean and inviting reception area, conference rooms, and entryway.
  • Meeting Support: Assist with setup and cleanup for client meetings, including food and beverage prep.
Kitchen and Office Maintenance:
  • Load and empty the dishwasher daily to keep our kitchen running smoothly.
  • Regularly restock the fridge with beverages and snacks.
  • Manage kitchen supply inventory to ensure we have coffee, tea, and utensils on hand.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen throughout the day.
Office Supplies and Equipment:
  • Monitor and order necessary office supplies.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are well-stocked and presentable for guests.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of equipment as needed.
  • Support basic administrative tasks that help our operations.
Audio-Visual and Facilities Assistance:
  • Ensure all AV equipment for Zoom meetings is functioning properly.
  • Help team members troubleshoot technical issues related to communication tools.
  • Be present for maintenance workers and coordinate facility needs.
Travel and Event Coordination:
  • Help organize travel arrangements and hotel bookings for team visits.
  • Support setup and teardown for office events, gatherings, and parties.

Compensation & Perks:
  • Hourly pay: $30-40/hour, based on your experience (part-time, 21 paid hours/week).
