POSITION SUMMARY:

The position is responsible for a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities inParking operations, DU ID card production and other areas of AuxiliaryServices. The position is alsoresponsible for the financial reporting of various office accounts as well asthe monthly reconciliation and corresponding payouts of various vendoraccounts. As a result it requires a highly organized, detailed oriented personwho has a background in tracking and creating financial reports. The position requires analytictroubleshooting and outstanding written and verbal skills when draftingletters, emails, departmental website and other communications

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial: Provides financial oversite and manages departmental operatingbudgets, including P-card purchases/repairs for Parking and DU CardOffice. Processes invoices and purchaseorders for department. Deposits/bills/tracks all replacement ID card money.Serves as department payroll time entry originator and ensures records areupdate to date and accurate. Ability todemonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in your work, specifically with financialreporting.

OfficeManagement/Coordinator: Under thedirection of Supervisor assigning and tracking work flow for office supportstaff. Enthusiastic, innovative thinker;continuously looking for ways to improve and/or expand services.

Customer Service:Serving as a back-up and/or point of escalation in assisting customers throughwalk-in, phone, or general email. Ability to be a team player, within and outside our department. Abilityto use good judgement, with minimal supervision.

Communications:Manage departmental website, create communication strategies, excellent writtenand oral communication skills.

TechnologySupport: Ability to learn new technical concepts, including new software andhardware as well as troubleshooting basic problems with Parking, Card Servicesand other equipment related to department (software including: T2 Parking,Transact Card System, Shuttle bus tracking).

DepartmentalRepresentative: Participate incommittees, meetings, events involving parking and DU Card (Safety committee,Benefits Fair, Student Recruitment, etc)/

Completes otherduties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:

Associates degree in a related from an accredited institution.

1-3 years of relatedwork experience.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination ofexperience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilitiesrequired to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is notlimited to, the following:

Exceptioncustomer service skills. Excellentorganizational and time management skills. Ability to be a team player within and outside the department.Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Ability to learn new technicalconcepts/software used within Parking and ID card creation.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with theUniversity Community.
