Office Manager Job Summary:Parker Core Knowledge (PCK), a high-performing P-8 charter school focused on academic excellence and character development, is seeking an experienced and professional Office Manager to oversee all K-8 front office operations and provide high-level administrative support to the school leadership team. This individual serves as a key member of the office team and is responsible for supervising office staff, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures. The Office Manager exercises independent judgment and decision-making in support of the school's mission and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Supervision - Lead and manage front office staff, including reception, health room, attendance, and business office personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations, support professional growth, and manage scheduling and coverage.
- Establish and enforce office procedures to ensure efficiency, safety, confidentiality, and high service standards.
Administrative Operations - Serve as a primary advisor to the School Director on matters related to school operations, staff coordination, and scheduling.
- Coordinate and implement school-wide administrative systems and communication channels to ensure effective and efficient support of school operations.
- Oversee, records management, and compliance with district and charter requirements and support student enrollment activities.
Project & Event Management - Plan and coordinate school events, meetings, activities, calendars, and schedules in collaboration with leadership and communications personnel.
- Manage internal deadlines, documentation, and logistics for time-sensitive projects (e.g., testing, enrollment cycles, state reporting).
Communications & Community Relations - Serve as the point of contact for families, vendors, and community stakeholders regarding school-wide inquiries and protocols.
- In collaboration with communications specialist, manage and oversee the creation and distribution of official communications, newsletters, and announcements on behalf of the school.
- Support and enhance a culture of professionalism and hospitality within the school environment.
Operations & Compliance Oversight - Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant school policies, district regulations, and state guidelines.
- Assist in budget tracking, purchasing, and contract coordination in alignment with the School Director and Business Office.
- Oversee maintenance and ordering of office equipment and supplies.
- Uphold school safety protocols, emergency plans, and building access controls.
Qualifications: Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of office or operations management experience required, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting
- Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and managing complex workflows
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and database management systems
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality in all matters
Preferred: - Experience working in a charter school or K-8 educational environment
- Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., Infinite Campus)
- Spanish-speaking or bilingual is a plus

Anticipated Starting Salary and Benefits:The anticipated starting salary range for this position is expected to be $48,000-$55,000 depending on experience and qualifications. PCK offers a full benefits package including medical, dental and vision benefits, health savings plan, short and long term disability insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, participation in the Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association (PERA) pension plan, employee assistance plan, paid sick leave, paid vacation leave and other voluntary benefits.
