Your Role as an Office Manager
  • Administrative Support: Assist with office operations, including correspondence, paperwork, and general clerical tasks.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding Assistance: Support hiring activities, coordinate background checks, verify credentials, and help facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Employee & Payroll Support: Assist employees with payroll issues, track attendance records, and ensure corrections are made before payroll processing.
  • Records & Compliance Management: Maintain personnel files, HRIS records, and ensure compliance with training documentation and credential renewals.
  • Office & Facility Coordination: Manage office supplies, coordinate vendor services, and assist with facility maintenance requests.
  • Safety & Regulatory Assistance: Help with safety inspections, work-related injury reports, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Training & Reporting: Support employee training sessions, track attendance, and compile reports as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two years of general office experience
  • Valid Virginia Drivers License
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff.
  • Active listening and emotional intelligence to support students' needs.
  • Ability to foster a positive, professional school environment with patience and adaptability.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
