Position Overview:

Our client, a private wealth management firm and RIA, is seeking an office manager to support employee relations, firm communications, payroll and benefits, record keeping, and compliance. This position can lead to upward mobility within the firm.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maintaining employee records and documents through data entry, filing, storage, updating and purging to ensure integrity and accuracy of information in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations

Assisting with payroll activities and adhering to all payroll compliance requirements for each state that we have employees

Assisting with guiding employees through various human resource processes and answering questions regarding the firm's policies and procedures

Distributing and monitoring employee performance evaluations and ensure these are completed in a timely manner

Working closely with benefits brokers and managing new employee benefit options as well as conducting annual firm wide open enrollment

Processing monthly billings from service providers

Supporting the team's marketing strategy by maintaining and ordering promotional merchandise and planning client events

Assisting with the firm's compliance processes and communication requirements to all employees

Ensuring workman's compensation guidelines are current and handling yearend audit

Assisting the Client Services Team with new client onboarding tasks and current client requests

Performing outreach to community sources as needed


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, in business, accounting, or other related field

At least two years of professional work experience

Strong analytical ability and demonstrated sound judgment in dealing with employees

Highly organized and exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Excellent decision-making capabilities with the ability to independently manage and interpret data

Very high attention to detail

Proficiency using Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Team player with the flexibility to independently manage work and complete time sensitive tasks

High professional standards, honesty, and integrity
