Digestive Disease Care for All is seeking a dedicated, experienced Office Manager to lead our dynamic gastroenterology practice. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a managerial role within a medical or clinical office, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in a gastroenterology setting-though this is not required. Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on your level of experience, particularly in medical management and/or specialty practices.
Responsibilities:
As Office Manager, you will serve as a key leader and operational cornerstone for the practice-responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day functions, fostering staff collaboration, and upholding service quality for our patients.
• Administrative Oversight
• Supervise front desk, medical assistants, and administrative staff
• Manage patient scheduling, provider coordination, and daily office workflow
• Oversee inventory management and ordering of medical and office supplies
• Patient Relations & Experience
• Promote a welcoming, respectful environment for all patients
• Resolve patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance across the office
• Operations & Process Management
• Oversee documentation accuracy, billing workflows, and insurance verification
• Partner with billing and coding staff to support proper reimbursement
• Manage EHR system functionality and staff training as needed
• Leadership & Team Culture
• Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and communication
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development of office staff
• Foster a positive, solutions-driven workplace culture
• Compliance & Coordination
• Coordinate with physicians and practice leadership on policy and quality initiatives
• Maintain awareness of regulatory updates and healthcare best practices
• Serve as liaison for vendors, contractors, and external service providers
Required Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a managerial role is required, preferably in a medical office setting
• Experience in a gastroenterology office is preferred, but not required
• Proficient in administrative coordination, staff leadership, and patient service
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic billing workflows
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and lead with accountability and integrity
• Must be able to work one saturday out of the month
