Overview: We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager for a short-term contract role in Baltimore, MD. This position is ideal for someone who can start immediately and is comfortable with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth transition and organization of our office space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Work closely with vendors to coordinate services and ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Office Packing: Oversee the packing up of the office, ensuring all items are securely and efficiently packed.
- Furniture and Equipment Sales: Manage the sale of office furniture and equipment, including listing items, negotiating prices, and coordinating pick-ups.
- File Shredding: Ensure the secure shredding of sensitive files and documents.
- Contractor Coordination: Liaise with contractors to facilitate various office-related projects and tasks.
- General Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the office transition, including some lifting and organizing of office items.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and moving office items.
