Job Description: Office Manager (Contract)

Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: 2-3 months

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $24-$26/hr

Work Schedule: Fully onsite with flexible hours


Overview: We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager for a short-term contract role in Baltimore, MD. This position is ideal for someone who can start immediately and is comfortable with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth transition and organization of our office space.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Work closely with vendors to coordinate services and ensure timely execution of tasks.
  • Office Packing: Oversee the packing up of the office, ensuring all items are securely and efficiently packed.
  • Furniture and Equipment Sales: Manage the sale of office furniture and equipment, including listing items, negotiating prices, and coordinating pick-ups.
  • File Shredding: Ensure the secure shredding of sensitive files and documents.
  • Contractor Coordination: Liaise with contractors to facilitate various office-related projects and tasks.
  • General Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the office transition, including some lifting and organizing of office items.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and moving office items.
