Move Forward with Volt.Volt is immediately hiring for an Office Bookkeeper in Fresno, CA.
As an Office Bookkeeper you will:- Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping across five checking accounts: Lehman's, Leh-Bon, Ken, Debra, and Profit Share.
- Calculate commissions (specifically David's on the second payroll of the month).
- Prepare and deliver deposits:
- Remote check deposits for Lehman's.
- In-person deposits for Ken and Leh-Bon.
- Handle petty cash deposits and change orders.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements for all entities.
- Record and manage accounts receivable:
- Enter customer invoices.
- Email invoices and monthly statements.
- Record rental income for Ken's properties.
- Manage payables for all entities, including some personal bills.
- Produce monthly reports:
- Balance Sheet
- Profit & Loss
- Top 20 Customer Summary
- Answer phones occasionally and provide administrative support as needed.
This is a full-time opportunity: Monday Friday 7:30am 4:30pm
The ideal candidate will have:- Proven experience with QuickBooks Desktop or Online
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency with bank reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting
- Ability to handle multiple bank accounts and entities
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Comfortable with light phone duties and general office tasks
Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00 per hour DOE Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
