Job Summary

Job Description

This position provides leadership, coordination and development of customer service functions and support services for the Registration and Academic Records (RAAR) office. Primary categories of responsibility include customer service and support, staffing/personnel, training, resource utilization, enrollment/degree verification, web management, and providing support and recommendations to the RAAR Leadership Team for daily operational issues of the unit.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Skills in customer service are sufficient to perform duties with courtesy, respect with the ability to effectively communicate and elicit information, interpret, and explain information with tact, and diplomacy in difficult situations.
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles sufficient to identify each customer's needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of English and customer services sufficient to present clear and concise explanations of governing policies, procedures, and transactions so others understand the information they are being given and serve as
    a resource for outside agencies and individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, adaptability, and effectiveness in solving problems.
  • Ability to use MS Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro and other software applications to prepare, create, format, edit, print, save and/or attach a variety of documents, including emails, reports, letters, presentations, spreadsheets, tables, charts, graphs, in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ability to embrace changes in technology, policies, and procedures and integrate changes into daily operations.
  • Skill in setting work priorities, arranging staff coverage to meet workload needs, initiating new work assignments, and resolving work-related issues. Ability to manage an office, and plan, organize, administer and direct work of others.
  • Organizational skills sufficient to manage multiple projects and stay focused through frequent interruptions while still delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial bookkeeping practices and procedures to analyze financial transactions related to budgeting, reconciliation, invoice payment, etc.
