This position is a member of the Vanderbilt Football staff and works with various aspects of the program including scouting reports, game film analysis, analytics, recruiting, and student-athlete instruction in order to ensure that the program is well prepared and informed to compete at the highest level.

Vanderbilt University's Athletics Department prepares student-athletes to become leaders and champions in life by placing the highest values on integrity, character, sportsmanship and victory. Vanderbilt is a charter member of the Southeastern Conference and is the conference's only private school. The university fields 17 varsity teams, 15 of which compete in the Southeastern Conference.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prior Season evaluation of Offensive calls & schemes
- Compiling, analyzing and grading game film
- Practice evaluation of Offensive calls & schemes
- Compiling, analyzing and grading practice film from spring, preseason and in-season practice sessions
- Consultation with Offensive Coordinator of advance scout on upcoming opponents
- Working with Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator to develop game plans
- Consultation to Offensive Coordinator of future opponent personnel
- Evaluating current roster and depth
- Instructing student-athletes in all aspects of the sport
- Position involves recruiting responsibilities to be determined by the Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator and or General Manager
- Assist in organizing and conducting practices and competitions
- Assist in developing, teaching and instructing the student-athletes in the proper rules of play, conditioning, skills and techniques on the football field and in life-skills and leadership qualities off the field.
- Assist in the technical development of student-athletes to help them reach their full potential.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is necessary.
- Previous experience in Division I football is necessary.
