Contingent on contract award KUWAITABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for Technical Control Facility (TCF) Supervisor candidates who will be the day-to-day operator of the TCF. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.

PRIMARY DUTIES: All candidates will perform the following duties:
- Provide detailed knowledge of the operation and maintenance of Promina 400/800 multiplexors.
- Provide detailed knowledge of GPS network timing schemes and devices.
- Provide detailed knowledge of signal flow, wiring schematics, network timing, and signal conversion.
- Provide detailed knowledge of testing, measurement, and diagnostic equipment to include but not limited to Fireberd 8000, T-Berd 6000, Fluke 199, O-scope, and spectrum analyzers.
- Provide knowledge and familiarity with the different networks in use within Regional Command, and the ISAF IJC.
- Provide knowledge and familiarity of encryption devices (KIV-19A, KIV-7 family, KG devices, TACLANE devices, and similar equipment) must know how to configure cryptographic devices to communicate with DISA, Marine Corps, and joint units.
- Provide knowledge and familiarity of cryptographic fills, how to load an encryption device, how to verify the fill segments, and how to operate a Simple Key Loader (SKL).
- Provide knowledge and familiarity with Cisco IOS-based routers 3900, 3800, and 2800 families; Cisco IOS based switches within the 6500, 4500, and 3700 families.
- Provide knowledge and familiarity of IP communications, including packet analysis.
- Provide knowledge and familiarity with layer 3 technologies, such as EIGRP and HSRP.
- Provide knowledge and familiarity with layer 2 technologies, such as Rapid Spanning-Tree.
- Provide utilize network management tools (Solarwinds) to monitor, evaluate, and report health statistics of WAN/LAN Networks.
- Provide possess familiarity with the employment and operation of Microwave Line-of-Sight (WPPL, Airaya, MRC-142C), Troposcatter, and Satellite (DKET, SWAN, SNAP) communications systems.
- Possess comprehensive network troubleshooting skills.
- Possess comprehensive technical documentation skills. Including the development of equipment programming records, and network architecture and equipment string diagrams.
- Provide on-site coordination of the installation, troubleshooting and restoration of WAN/LAN and special interest circuits.
- Maintain detailed recordkeeping on circuit installation, maintenance, and termination while providing timely and accurate status updates to systems control and engineering personnel.
- Supervise the employment of separate functional area technicians to ensure the completion of necessary network actions.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
SKILLS REQUIRED: All candidates will have the following minimum skills:
- Seven (7) years of experience in a military environment related to tactical network systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork.
- Work well independently or as a member of a team environment
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.
- Must have an active Secret Clearance.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Preferred Associate's degree in Networking field
OR eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in maintaining certifications related to the requirement of the position.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: All candidates will the following required certification(s):
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) OR Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
