Occupational Therapist School Setting

Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students with mild to moderate disabilities in a K-12 school setting. This part-time position involves working 20 hours a week, assigned to two schools, and is set for the school year.

Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapy license in Maine
Experience in school settings is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and practices for students

Location:

Bangor, ME

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
Provide direct occupational therapy services and monitor student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
Develop adaptive tools and strategies to enhance student learning and participation
