Pride Health is hiring a Travel Outpatient Occupational Therapist to support our client's medical facility based in Plainville, Connecticut. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality outpatient orthopedic care to patients under the supervision of orthopedic surgeons.
- Manage a caseload of 10-12 patients per day, ensuring one-on-one patient care for optimal outcomes.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for patients with upper extremity (UE) orthopedic conditions.
- Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
- Educate patients on proper exercises, techniques, and injury prevention strategies for rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and the healthcare team to track patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or a related field.
- Licensed OT in Connecticut.
- 2-3 years of experience working with upper extremity orthopedic cases.
- Certification as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred

- Location:Primary Location: Plainville, CT - Secondary Location: Farmington, CT
- Job Type: Contract - 13 weeks possible extension
- Schedule: Monday to Friday - Two days per week: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM - Three days per week: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Pay Range: 1,900.00 to 2,100.00 weekly
