GENERAL PURPOSE: Provide quality therapy services to patients while supervising therapy assistants, adhering to standards and regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Evaluate patient's functional status and identify equipment needs. Develop treatment programs and establish goals for improved function. Communicate care plans to physicians and other professionals. Teach new skills and retrain patients in daily activities. Maintain clinical records and communicate changes in patient conditions. Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate care. QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program. Registered with the National Registration Examination. Current therapy license in the state of employment. Good communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and insured vehicle. Active AHA CPR certification for outpatient positions. Comprehensive benefits package offered.
