Occupational Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapy services to patients in a Day Care setting. The Occupational Therapist will focus on improving patients' ability to perform daily activities and enhance their overall quality of life through tailored treatment plans and interventions.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Utilize therapeutic techniques to assist patients in improving their functional abilities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure coordinated care.
Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience in geriatrics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health preferred.
Strong knowledge of physiology and its application in therapeutic interventions.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
