Occupational Therapist Opportunity:
- 8-week contract
- Shifts will vary, M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- PRN meaning anywhere from 8 to 40 hours per week
- Inpatient only
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
- An Occupational Therapist conducts assessments, re-assessments, treatments, and discharges in accordance with the current standards of physical therapy and the hospital's guidelines.
- The Occupational Therapist is responsible for documenting progress notes, communication with physicians, and discharge summaries for all patients under care.
- They also provide education to patients and caregivers regarding their conditions, available treatment options, and self-management techniques.
- The team of Occupational Therapists collaborates closely with Physical Therapist Assistants, administrative personnel, and hospital staff to deliver holistic and compassionate care.
Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
- Masters in occupational therapy
- NBCOT and BLS Certification
- Current TX Occupational Therapist license
