GENERAL PURPOSE: Provide quality therapy services to patients while supervising therapy assistants, adhering to standards and regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Evaluate patients' functional status and develop treatment plans. Communicate care plans with physicians and other professionals. Teach skills and retrain patients in daily activities. Maintain clinical records and coordinate care with other personnel. Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and participate in discharge planning. QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program. Registered and licensed in the state of employment. Good communication and organizational skills; computer literate. Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required. Active CPR certification for outpatient positions. Comprehensive benefits package offered.
