Job Summary: Plans and administers occupational therapy treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability after disease, injury, or loss of body part.
Utilizes an outward mindset to achieve personal and team goals. Assesses appropriateness of therapies based on patient evaluations. Records therapy procedures and results. Reviews physician referrals and medical records for treatment planning. Administers therapeutic exercises and manual therapies. Instructs and motivates patients in their exercises. Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist in Michigan; BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Preferred one year of experience with all age groups; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Working Conditions: Potential exposure to infectious diseases.
Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting and carrying, with constant visual and auditory engagement.
