Job Summary: Plans and administers occupational therapy treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability after disease, injury, or loss of body part.
Uses an outward mindset to achieve personal and team goals. Determines appropriateness of therapies based on patient evaluations. Records therapy procedures and results. Reviews physician referrals to establish treatment plans. Administers therapeutic exercises and assists patients. Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist in Michigan; BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Preferred one year of experience with all age groups; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Working Conditions: Potential exposure to infectious diseases.
Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting and carrying, with constant visual and auditory engagement.
