Occupational Therapist (Part-Time)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will design and deliver tailored therapy plans to support patients in achieving their recovery and mobility goals. Responsibilities:
- Perform patient evaluations within 24 hours of referral and create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy sessions in alignment with physician-approved care plans.
- Supervise and guide Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides, and students, adhering to state practice acts.
- Train nursing staff and caregivers to provide effective support during and after therapy.
- Maintain thorough records, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and staff training sessions.
- Recommend and coordinate durable medical equipment (e.g., walkers, canes, grab bars) to promote patient independence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's or Doctorate preferred).
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of WA, with a commitment to continuing education requirements.
- Proficiency in systems like Casamba and PointClickCare is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring strength, mobility, and endurance.
