Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
Position: Occupational Medicine NP
Location: Robbinsdale, MN
Coverage Type: Call only

️ Schedule:

• 3 days per week 8 hour days. (Preference: M, W, TH)
• Willing to be Flexible on days depending on need and time of year (example; may need to add extra days for flu shot clinic)
• Estimated need 6-8 months.
• Start date As soon as possible to assist in transition.

Details:

• Assessment of work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Documentation of work injuries and start the workers comp & return to work process.
• Preplacement health assessments & exams
• Signoff on Lab/Radiology orders. (Orders are placed through Agility. Results viewed through Epic)
• DOT Physicals (Must be DOT Certified)
• Support to TMH Staff
• Onsite Required
• EMR Agility & Epic for orders

Requirements:

• Must have 5-7yrs Occupational Health experience. - Required
• Must be DOT Certified (conducting DOT Physicals) - Required
• Prefer Infectious Disease/Infection Prevention Experience/Knowledge
• OSHA Record keeping knowledge.
• Prefer workers comp experience/knowledge. Even better is MN specific Workers Comp knowledge.
• Prefer Healthcare/Hospital Experience over Manufacturing.
• NP specific - Prefer COHN. (Certified Occupational Health Nurse)
• MD Specific Prefer COEM (Certified Occupational & Environmental Medicine)
• MN license - Preferred
• BLS - Required
