Job Title: Locum - NP/PA - Occupational Health Facility & Practice Overview:
This exciting opportunity offers the chance to become the sole provider in an occupational medicine clinic located in the beautiful town of Frisco, Colorado. In this role, you will manage work compensation cases and provide care for injured workers from the community. A medical director is onsite once or twice a week to offer support, ensuring a collaborative environment. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weekends or on-call requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care to injured workers and manage their treatment plans.
- Handle work comp cases, ensuring timely referrals and follow-ups.
- Conduct assessments and diagnostic tests as necessary.
- Maintain patient records in the electronic medical record system (Epic).
- Collaborate with support staff, including medical assistants.
- Adapt to walk-in patients and manage a schedule similar to an urgent care environment.
- Complete required training on EMR prior to starting.
Qualifications:
- ANCC/AANP or NCCPA Certification.
- Active Colorado license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Level 1 work comp certification through CO Department of Labor and Development.
- Ability to complete all EMR training as set forth in the job description.
- Clean malpractice and background checks.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Colorado Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active DOT certification required after credentialing.
