40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, no weekends, and no major holidays.

Required Experience:
- Ideal overall experience is 2 years in an acute care hospital environment.

Required Certifications:
- MA OT licensure
- CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider)

Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with patients in a hospital setting.
- ICU experience is an added bonus.
- Experience with diverse patient populations is a plus.
- Experience with EPIC documentation is beneficial.

Skill Level:
- Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting.
- Excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques.
- Good communicator and comfortable working with other healthcare team members (nursing, MD, case management).
- Team player with strong time management skills.
- Self-directed, flexible, and able to multitask.

Department Details:
The Inpatient Rehab department is composed of Physical Therapists (PT) and Occupational Therapists (OT), providing coverage throughout the inpatient floors of the hospital. Patients range from birth to the elderly and may have varying impairments related to musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses.

Average Patient Ratio or Patients Seen in a Shift:
Goal productivity is 5.2 hours in an 8-hour day. Therapists usually manage a patient list of 8-15 patients and typically see between 6-7 patients.

Additional Comments/Details:
- Competence with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment is essential.
- Comfortable working with a wide variety of patient diagnoses.
- Dark gray scrubs are required.
