Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Physician to join our team. This role is essential in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of employees within various workplace environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational medicine and be adept at managing a wide range of health issues related to the workplace. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health regulations, conducting assessments, and providing medical guidance to both employees and management.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and evaluations for employees, focusing on occupational health risks.
  • Develop and implement health programs aimed at preventing work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Provide clinical care, including acute care, urgent care, and addiction medicine services as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage employee health concerns effectively.
  • Administer immunizations and perform procedures such as IV infusion when necessary.
  • Participate in clinical trials related to occupational health advancements.
  • Educate employees on health promotion, safety practices, and wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay updated on current trends in occupational health, including developments in endocrinology, neurology, and senior care.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Occupational Medicine or related specialty.
  • Proven experience in clinical practice with a focus on occupational health issues.
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures relevant to workplace healthcare.
  • Familiarity with regulations governing workplace health and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Previous experience in acute care settings is preferred; experience in addiction medicine is a plus.
