Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Health NP to join our Employee Health Office/HR team at Auburn Community Hospital. This role is vital in promoting health and safety in the workplace while providing high-quality nursing care to our employees. The Occupational Health NP/PA will play a key role in ensuring compliance with health regulations and enhancing employee well-being, while managing the day-to-day operations of the Employee Health Office.

Responsibilities
Conduct health assessments and screenings for employees.
Develop and implement occupational health programs and policies.
Manage New York State disability, FMLA, and Worker's Compensation paperwork for eligible employees.
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and health standards.
Provide education on injury prevention and wellness initiatives.
Collaborate with management to address workplace health issues.
Maintain accurate records of employee health data and interventions.
Respond to workplace injuries and provide immediate care as needed.

Requirements
Licensed NP in NYS
Experience preferred with a background in Occupational Health, Family Practice, or Emergency Care.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices and occupational health regulations.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
