Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Wilson North Carolina (NC). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- Seeking hospital call coverage only for 1 weekend a month starting with the weekend of 5/23. This need is critical to ensure the unit remains open.
- Strong unit and provider support.
- 650 deliveries/year
Skills required:
- low risk pregnancy
- high risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
- OB Ultrasounds
- Amniocentesis
- Routine deliveries, including vaginal, decision making for C-sections
- Complicated deliveries, including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Surgical Gyn
- Laser certification
Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- NC state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified OBGYN
- NC State DEA
- BLS and ACLS
- Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption
