Facility:

This facility is a well-established healthcare center serving the Washington community and surrounding areas. With 16 beds in the department (8 LDRP, 8 couplet/GYN), the facility provides comprehensive women's healthcare services in a supportive environment. The facility is designated as a Level 3 trauma center with Level 2 pediatrics capabilities.

Opportunity: ABMS - Obstetrics and Gynecology

This position is available due to a provider stopping deliveries and leaving the OB call rotation. Coverage is especially needed from May 16-26 and August 4-10, with ongoing support required until November when a new partner starts. Weekday coverage is primarily needed for night shifts as current providers can cover days.

Job Details:

  • Cover approximately 5 patient encounters per shift
  • Manage both low and high-risk pregnancies
  • Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted)
  • Conduct amniocentesis procedures
  • Handle routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps) and make c-section decisions
  • Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
  • Repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations
  • Perform office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
  • Conduct surgical gynecology procedures (open, laparoscopic, operative/major)
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Board certification eligible minimum requirement
  • 60-90 days estimated credentialing timeframe

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
