If there is something the FNP can't handle, they will have the locum come over to the office for that patient, otherwise, the FNP will admit the patient and let the locum handle it at the hospital.Locum will be required to round on inpatients in the hospital daily (even on weekends)Average number of inpatients rounded on per day = 1-3 patients.Average deliveries per day = 1-32-4 NST/observations daily average4 LDR bedsMust be comfortable with vaginal deliveries, as well as cesarean deliveriesED consults for OBGYN patients as neededNo inpatient midlevel supportAge range of patient population: 15-70Circumcisions are NOT required.
