The staff physician provides an active role in the clinical practice and oversight of the medical services provided by advanced practice providers. The staff physician will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer. The staff physician will have an identified clinical home for Family Planning and Gynecologic services, as well as provide abortion services in both the Missouri and Illinois locations. Position may require travel to PPGR s Health Center locations. Must have a current and valid license to practice in the state of Missouri and Illinois, and a willingness to be in collaborative practice agreements with midlevel clinicians. Must apply for hospital admitting privileges at local area hospitals within the first 4 weeks of employment. Requires day, evening, and weekend hours. Requires effective written and oral communication skills. Requires mobility to provide physical exams if necessary. Requires the ability to navigate an electronic medical record. This position fulfills the cell phone reimbursement policy requirements.
