Locums OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity - Prescott Valley, ArizonaStart Date: June 2, 2025 IMLC Accepted In-House Shifts Consistent VolumeWe're seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist for a locum tenens opportunity in Prescott Valley, AZ, starting in June 2025. This is an ideal role for someone looking for regular in-house shifts at a well-supported birthing center, with a consistent patient volume and collaborative environment.Position Details:
•   Start Date: June 2, 2025 - Ongoing
•   Schedule: 10-12 shifts/month, 24-48 hour in-house shifts
•   Weekend Requirement: Minimum 4 weekend shifts/month
•   Setting: Family Birthing Center
•   EMR: Cerner
•   Support: L&D RNs, NNPs, anesthesia, OR team
•   Responsibilities:
•   Manage all triage, LDRP, and GYN patients (ED & inpatient)
•   Cover labor & delivery, emergency OB care, and postpartum follow-up Patient Volume & Case Mix:
•   Approx. 950 deliveries annually ( 2.6 deliveries/day)
•   Triage: 6 patients/day (2 admitted, 4 discharged)
•   Admissions include antepartum and deliveries from local private practices
•   About 20 patients/year with no prenatal care
•   Midwife patients may be brought in for delivery (no in-house midwife practice yet)
•   Occasional referrals from lay midwives in the community Requirements:
•   Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
•   Active Arizona medical license (IMLC accepted)
•   Completion of OB/GYN residency required
