Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• ASAP - ongoing
• Schedule: 10-14 day stretches, rotating call with available clinic shifts
• Clinic Hours: Monday through Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM, Friday 8 AM - 12 PM
• Clinic Coverage and Call Coverage

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
• Patients Per Shift: 15-20
• Bed in Department: 10
• Rounding Patients: Assigned and Unassigned
• EMR: MediTech in the hospital, Athena in the clinics
• Support Staff: 2 RN, 1 MA, 3 NPs, 2 Office Staff, Nursing Support
• Call Type: Beeper
• Call Response Time: 15 minutes
• Provider on call will assist in clinic during the day for urgent matters
• Deliveries: 30-40 per month
• PEDs Level: 2
• NICU: Not available, patients are Life Flighted to another facility

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required
• Fellowship: Preferred
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• License: Iowa licensed or IMLC
