Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• August 1, 2025- Ongoing
• 12 or 24-hour shifts
• 7 to 10 shifts per month
• Weekend call
• Monday to Friday

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Hospital/Call
• Reason for Coverage: Hospitalist need covering Labor and Delivery and ER room
• In-house shifts with a designated call room
• Total Number of Beds: 18 laboring beds
• Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: 3-4 laboring patients
• Number of Physicians in Practice: 6
• Onsite Lab and Ultrasound available
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Nursery Level: II
• Percentage of Patients who are C-Section: 30%

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Eligible
• MI State License - Highly Preferred
• BLS
• Required Obstetrics Procedures: Low and High Risk Pregnancy management, FHR Interpretation, OB ultrasounds, Amniocentesis
• Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine and Complicated Deliveries, VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
• Gynecology Required Procedures: Office/Minor Gynecology, Surgical Gynecology, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor, Operative/Major
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
