• Patient Demographics: OB/GYN patients

• Patient Volume/Census: 12-15 patients per day

• Case Mix: OB, C-section, GYN procedures including IUD insertion/removal, cystoscopy, and hysterectomy

FACILITY INFORMATION:

• No. of Beds in Department: 5 Labor & Delivery beds, 3 triage beds

• EMR System: Epic

• Specialty Backup Available: Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) available 24-hour call; transfers to Prisma Richland, Columbia, SC if needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active South Carolina license required

• Board: Board Eligible (within 5 years)

• DEA: Active DEA Certification

• Certifications: Not specified

• Experience: Must have Epic EMR experience

• Other Qualifications: Fellowship required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage.

• Manage labor and delivery patients, including unassigned patients from the ER.

• Perform C-sections, GYN surgeries, and other OB/GYN procedures.

• Coordinate patient transfers to higher-level care facilities as needed.

• Document patient encounters in Epic EMR system.
