Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Duration: Stretches of at least 7 days/month

Assignment: Physician working in clinic during the week seeing OB/GYN patients for new obstetrics, established obstetrics, new gynecology issues, and surgical consultations. Surgical blocks are twice per week for non-emergent surgeries. Call is 24 hour shifts from 7 am to 7 am and includes all obstetrics as well as emergency gynecology and obstetric cases.

• Call is 24-hour shifts from 7a-7a and includes all obstetrics as well as emergency gynecology and obstetric cases.
• Physician working in clinic seeing ob/gyn patients for new obstetrics, established obstetrics, new gynecology issues, and surgical consultations.
• Physicians working with CRNA's and midwives
• Support Staff: Lab Tech, LPN/LVN, MA, X-ray Tech, RN
• Physicians working with CRNA's and midwives
  
• Setting: Clinic and inpatient call.
• Required procedures/job duties: all OB/GYN procedures including more than 5 c-section in the last 24 months & more than 5 hysterectomies in the last 24 months. Need to have procedure log at time of presentation.
• EMR: EPIC
• Reason for coverage: 2 vacancies.
  Must have the following within the past 24 months: at least 5 hysterectomies and at least 5 C sections.
