This opportunity is for a Physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology, providing support in an inpatient setting. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call support from 7 AM to 7 AM, managing patient care through on-call duties.
- Document patient contact hours, including necessary supporting notes for all call back hours on timesheets.
- Conduct thorough reviews of medical records as part of call support; on-site presence during call support is not mandatory unless criteria necessitate.
- Manage an average of 3 patient encounters per shift, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
- Respond to calls within a required response time of 30 minutes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate care.
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Active NC medical license.
- Previous inpatient experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active North Carolina medical license.
- Current board certification in specialty or eligibility.
