Job Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care in Maternal Fetal Medicine managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to create comprehensive care plans.
- Render services mainly in Grand Rapids with some travel to Muskegon as needed.
- Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents.
- Work closely with an assigned Medical Assistant, Sonographer, and additional support staff.
- Share on-call duties with MFM Partner/Medical Director primarily phone consultations with occasional hospital visits.
- Contribute as an experienced Board Certified or truly Board Eligible recent graduate.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN is REQUIRED.
- Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 2 years) or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine is REQUIRED.
- Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain is REQUIRED.
- DEA certification or willingness to obtain is REQUIRED.
- BLS and ACLS certifications or willingness to obtain are REQUIRED.
- Clean malpractice history is PREFERRED.
- Visa support for H1B candidates is available; J1 waivers are not accepted.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain).
- DEA certification (or willing to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain).
