Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
- Round on patients as needed, ensuring all patient care standards are met.
- Address any emergent GYN procedures effectively.
- Manage high-risk deliveries and coordinate transfers to specialized facilities when necessary.
- Utilize the MediTech 6.1 EMR system for patient documentation and records management.
- Maintain responsiveness and communication with hospital staff and patients.
- Ensure adherence to hospital bylaws regarding proximity and response times.
Qualifications:
- Active NC Medical License.
- NC DEA and Medicaid, Medicare/PECOS enrollment.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Recent experience delivering babies with submitted case logs for the past 24 months.
- No significant malpractice cases or disciplinary actions.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Active North Carolina Physician License.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (required).
- NC DEA Registration.
