Locums OB/GYN Hospitalist - Astoria, OregonFull-Scope Inpatient & Outpatient Role Willing to License Long-Term Assignment PreferredRecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN for a locum tenens opportunity in Astoria, Oregon. This is a full-scope position covering both clinic and hospital settings in a supportive, team-based environment. The facility is open to licensing and welcomes recently trained residents. Position Overview
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approx. 90 days)
• Contract Length: Long-term preferred
• Minimum: 1-2 consistent weeks per month
• Full-time availability highly preferred
• Shift Structure:
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4-day work week)
• Call Shifts: 7:30 AM - 7:30 AM (up to 10 call shifts/month)
• Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient (hospital and private clinic)
• Hospital Type: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital Clinical Responsibilities
• Full-scope OB/GYN care: clinic, deliveries, surgeries
• Clinic volume: 8-15 patients/day
• OR days: 1-2 major surgeries and 3 minor procedures
• Patient population includes women of all ages, with a large older demographic Team & Support
• CNMs, MAs, and CRNAs
• 24/7 Pediatric call coverage
• Backup OB/GYN always available
• Collegial, team-based environment
• EMR: Cerner Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Oregon medical license (or willing to obtain)
• DEA license - Required
• Must have clinically practiced in the past 12 months
