Per Diem OBGYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Rowlett, TX.



Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is in partnership with Baylor Scott & White Lakepoint Medical Center to provide OBGYN hospitalist services to the suburban Dallas community and we have an exciting opportunity for a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team.   • Responsibilities include: OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, Inpatient care, seeing unassigned patients and private call coverage, covering the OB floor, ER consults for GYN emergencies, surgical assists at cesarean sections, fetal monitoring and emergency response in labor and delivery
  • Shifts are 24 hours in house
  • Subspecialty coverage:
    • Collaborate with our affiliated, In-house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU with 1,700-deliveries annually
    • Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists are available for high-risk pregnancies
    • Anesthesiology services in-house, 24/7

Qualifications
  • Active TX license or active IMLC preferred
  • Board Certification in OB/GYN with recent clinical experience required

Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
