Enjoy a quality-of-life OB hospitalist opportunity in a regional obstetrics hub known for advanced perinatal care and strong in-hospital support. Join a team of three OB hospitalists delivering emergency-focused, in-house obstetric care in a busy and well-resourced environment. With no clinic or GYN responsibilities, this role is entirely focused on managing acute OB cases. Work only 84 shifts per year (approximately 8 per month), with the option to pick up additional shifts. The facility includes two dedicated OB ORs, 24/7 MFM, OB anesthesia, and neonatology-all within a Level III NICU setting.

Position Highlights:

  • Join 3 OB hospitalists in a full-scope, in-hospital OB-only model
  • Dedicated OB ED with 300-350 visits/month
  • Two OB ORs within L&D for immediate surgical access
  • 1,800+ annual deliveries and growing volume
  • 375-400 Level III NICU admissions per year-the highest outside Indianapolis
  • Fully supported by 24/7 MFM, OB anesthesia, and neonatology teams
  • $322K base salary for 84 shifts/year (option for more)
  • $25K sign-on bonus, $4,500 CME, $1,000 for memberships
  • Employer-matched 403(b), optional 457 plan, malpractice with tail
