A 400-500 bed multispecialty facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
Be entertained at one of the countrys largest performing arts venues, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, while on assignment in Newark, New Jersey. You can always explore the masters at the Newark Museum too.
We're looking for OB/GYN coverage on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with Thursdays being a 24-hour shift and the other days consisting of 8-hour shifts. The clinician will perform both vaginal and cesarean births, as well as GYN procedures and surgeries. There is restricted in-house call, and the patient load is approximately 30 per day. You'll be working alongside other providers, including certified nurse midwives, whom the locum will be responsible for supervising. Additional support staff is also available.
