OB/GYN Locum Tenens - Washington, MO
Start Date : ASAP
Schedule : Beeper call only; nights on weekdays, 24-hour call on weekends
Duration : Through 12/31/2025
Location : Washington, MO
Opportunity Highlights :
- Beeper call with 30-minute response time
- OB and GYN inpatient coverage
- 1:4 call ratio
- 16-bed department (8 LDRP, 8 couplet/GYN)
- Epic EMR
- Trauma level III facility
- Support staff includes: 1 NP, 16 office staff (MAs, RNs, PSRs)
- High-need dates: 5/16-5/26, 8/4-8/10
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Licensed in MO only
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- days credentialing timeline
- No hospital privileges required
- No supervision of APPs or residents
- No temporary privileges available
Skills Needed:
- Low and high-risk pregnancy management
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB ultrasound (Level I & II)
- Amniocentesis
- Routine and complicated deliveries (including C-section, breech, multiple births, VBACs, forceps)
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office procedures: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP
- Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic) including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, LOA
- No laser certification required
