OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana is a 312-bed hospital that provides acute care and a surgical facility that has served the Texarkana community since 1916. The hospital is home to a level III NICU, private birthing suites and educational classes for new parents.

Texarkana is located in Bowie County and is home to more than 37,000 residents. It is a twin city to nearby Texarkana, Arkansas. Texarkana got its name for being close to the state lines of Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana and is a city on the Arkansas side with the same name.
