As a Nutrition Cook at Healthcare Services Group (HCSG), you will be instrumental in preparing and delivering delicious and nutritious meals for residents in our long-term care facility. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established menus and recipes.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are achieved.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines, keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
  • Assist with inventory management and order necessary supplies.
  • Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
  • Ability to follow recipes and respect dietary restrictions.
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical capability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable working with food and cleaning products.
  • Completion of an approved sanitation and safety course may be required.
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification, if applicable.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
