Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established menus and recipes.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are achieved.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines, keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
- Assist with inventory management and order necessary supplies.
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
- Ability to follow recipes and respect dietary restrictions.
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull weights up to 50 pounds.
- Physical capability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable working with food and cleaning products.
- Completion of an approved sanitation and safety course may be required.
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification, if applicable.
- Residency within the service area is required.
