Nursing Surgical Charge Entry Specialist

The Nursing Surgical Charge Entry Specialist performs system application and project leadership for surgical charge entry processes.
•  Minimum of five years RN experience, including one year OR experience; three years in system applications and one year as a project lead.
•  Preferred candidates have eight+ years RN experience, BSN, strong computer skills, and extensive healthcare IT experience.
•  Requires current RN license, knowledge of surgical procedures, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in hospital/office environments.
•  Responsible to the Director of Surgical Services, with some travel and extended hours during critical tasks.
•  Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged computer use.
